Irish Moss 40grm

A 40g tub of Irish Moss (Chondrus Crispus), used to prevent protein haze and aid head retention.

Irish Moss is Atlantic Red Seaweed which contains k-carrageenan, similar to starch or cellulose. Its negatively charged particles react with the wort proteins causing them to clump together and precipitate out of suspension.

Directions: 1 tsp added during the last 15 mins of the boil will help clear your beer.
